Almost always it is one of the four reasons below. They are in order of how often they happen.
This is the most common reason by a long way. An offer only pays if you saved it in the ZlipR app before you bought the product. Saving it afterwards does not work, even if you scan the bill straight away.
Think of it as clipping a paper coupon: you have to be carrying it when you reach the counter.
Only the specific products in your saved offers earn cashback. Everything else on the bill is read and ignored. A bill can be large and still earn nothing if none of the items had an offer saved against them.
Every offer has its own last date, shown on the offer itself. What matters is that date, not the date on your bill. If the offer ended before you shopped, it pays nothing.
Each offer can be used once. If you used it on an earlier bill, it will not pay again.
Occasionally a shop's billing system records a product code that does not match the one the brand registered, and we cannot match it. If you saved the offer, bought the exact product, and it was still in date, keep the bill and get in touch — we can check what the shop's system sent us.
